When you purchase any product or service on phone (through IVR), you now need to enter an additional password to make your transaction a lot more safe. This is a mandatory guideline from RBI.
Please follow the steps given below for generating password for IVR Transactions:

SMS “KOTP XXXX” (last four digits of Kotak Credit Card number) to 5676798 or 9212738927 from your registered mobile number before your transaction.

You will automatically receive a numeric password on your registered mobile number.

Call the merchant where you wish to purchase the product or service from.

Please key in your Credit Card number, expiry date and CVV number.

Enter the numeric password through your phone.

Proceed with processing your phone (IVR) transaction.
Each purchase will have a new and unique password which can be used within 2 hours. Kindly note that no phone (IVR) transactions can be carried out without following the password process.
